For many people waking up consistently can be a difficult task. Many products that integrate both functions treat light, time, and interaction as separate functions, forcing users to juggle multiple devices and creating a cluttered, inefficient morning routine. This project aims create an experience that is more reliable and enjoyable to that of traditional alarms
On the market, a multitude of products exist that incorporate both the features of an alarm and a lamp; however, none of them utilize any meaningful interplay between these functions. For many individuals who struggle to get out of bed in the morning, it can be very tempting to hit the snooze button. But what if there were a product that created a deterrent to hitting snooze—or at least made the process of falling back to sleep a bit more difficult?
stylistical the form would feel very inline with smart device. Utilizing a mix of mesh/fabric aswell as matt finished plastic
Focused on forms and mechanisms that would allow for a distinct change in silhouette when pressed. Utilising push-push mechanism that would allow for both tactile and physical indicators of function
